Incident While working with MoonPay

After being referred to MoonPay, while on Meta Mask platform, a sad situation occurred.

When i was on your app or site, i needed help so i responded to the chatbox, I was instructed to answer my phone, so I did, at which time i was instructed to optin a moonpay employee by the name of Wilfred. He got on and helped facilitate the purchase. Then Sunday I made another purchase by myself. Over $12,000 gone. Right when the money hit my account it was immediately transferred. You have all the info, I don’t know why you didn’t put a hold or call me to verify, something to alert me.
You think a platform that is being offered on MetaMask would have the necessary tactics implemented. This seems like a juvenile mistake on MetaMask & MoonPay’s profile. One or both should be liable, especially not putting a hold on the account and not contacting me personally because I spoke with this person on 4 different occasions within a 5 day span with 3 different transactions. Where I could have been alerted and saved me $9,000 of the money lost.

I received no help nor did I receive any type of return email,call,text. I left a message on every email, phone number that was available. Plus I spoke via text and by phone. The only response was, we are not liable for transactions. “Excuse me I know” but if you would listen to what happened, it’s not the transaction that I’m complaining about.

Hello, One of 2 things, either, someone that works the chatbot at MoonPay is tossing people to a hacker and getting a % OR Somehow a hacker knows when someone is on the platform looking for help. I have not being able to find any help at the MoonPay website. They are not returning my emails. You can not call them, I don’t want to write the whole short story so I will just give you the facts. Only my 2nd time performing a transaction such as this, the first was with MoonPay creating an NFT. So I had an account. I couldn’t get the payment to go through so I messaged on the chatbot provided “lower left” I Explained and she then text me that they would help facilitate the transaction via phone, right at that time my phone rang. I had no time to think, he introduced himself and opted in using an app called, TEAM. Later I didn’t see the money so I called him back, he said, “look into it call you back” that evening I saw the transaction so I thought it was all good. I have an image of what I was seeing, I have a problem trusting that people are what they say they are. Following day I performed another transaction by my self using what I thought was my account #, “I believe it is because it’s the # that I had when I first logged in. By the way, THis happened using Chrome Extension through Meta Mask then clicked on MoonPay.
On Monday Wilfred called back and asked if I used a different IP address, I said “yes” he explained that I was locked out of everything and that he was going to introduce a double optin, so I let him do that. Meanwhile he performed another 2 Grand transaction. I was unaware of, that is what alerted me. No
There is no way I or anyone else for that matter that would let complete stranger optin to their laptop unless they thought they have been through a complete scan.

The 3rd time I spoke to Wilfred, he was trying to perform another transaction while I only thought he was putting together a double optin for me. He took an additional 2 Grand. Again, this was my life insurance I had to cash in so that I could put food on the table. Again i found an account that pays 1% per day so 30% per month on the money.
We could find out more if there is a copy of the chatbot trans script,
I know your busy, and customer service is not your problem, but I really need your help or if you could appoint someone.

Why? one from MoonPay contacted me to say that the money transferred immediately was transferred to another account. Even the transaction I did myself. This all happened on MoonPay. So 1- there was a chat box, If it was with you then there is a mole handing out calls or 2, someone knows how to throw up a chatbot at the right time. I’m trying to get a copy of the chat, because there it would have MoonPay telling me to answer my phone. I Don’t Know Who Else To Turn To, This was my life insurance money, I’ve been sick so I was trying to turn a dime and ended up confiding in MoonPay. That did not turn out well for me.
